Ba ssebo ne ba nyabo I gladly stand corrected and humbled on the matter!

I’m also aware that banamawaanga bwe batuuka ku Baganda olwo ng’atuwalana awerekedde atubanja.

However talking of practices why should our own voluntary practices be less understandable that than say the increasingly popular body piercing? (I’m talking extreme anatomy)

QUOTE:
Ms. K-’s paternal family and clan in Uganda require all unmarried women and girls to undergo a particularly gruesome form of FGM performed by the elder women of the clan.

People will do anything okufuna empapula oba stay! Naye ate ono alimbye nayitawo!!! The quote above from her story is her own fantasies.

Okusika happens. We all know. And among us we know 'abaasika.' But it is free will. Abataasika nabo bangi era teri abalondola kubasisa nga tebeyagalidde!

Abaganda from history respected and never mutilated their bodies. This is one thing that even the early Europeans who came in contact with the tribes of the interior of Africa found unique. Most other tribes pierced and did all sorts of things with their bodies, including removal of the front teeth etc. The Baganda never did such hideous things.

Nze ndi mwetegefu okuwa obujilizi ku schemer ono avumirizisa nnyaffe Buganda olwokuba anoonya empapula!

Zoozo,

These must be Closed Proceedings given the V-K acronym used in the brief as well as the unidentified child involved.
