Sebo Mumbejja, that is completely true. Buganda "okwesalako" starts in your heart as a Muganda, in your actions, in your relationships, in what you say and to who, in who you trust. The boarders come later.

You know I agree with you, Mumbejja. Do not start a war with that man m7, because that is what he wants you to do, so that he may crush you. That is what he is good at.

As you say, let us bleed the man to death. Let us consider ourselves an independent Buganda, away from m7. STOP attending his functions, stop buying anything that is associated with his family, as much as you can.

Isolate all baganda who have sided with him, the Tamale-Mirundi(s) and their families. When they come to attend our functions, (weddings, burials, etc) completely ignore them, as if they are invisible. Do not let them talk to people. Do not give them front seats.

Some married women know this very powerful weapon - the weapon of silence. Just ignore anything m7.

We need each other: 3 Months, 3 Weeks ago
IVE GROWN UP IN BUGANDA. MY FIANCEE IS A MUGANDA. I WAS EDUCATED IN ONE OF THE TOP SECONDARY SCHOOLS IN UGANDA AND IN ANDA. IVE GROWN TO APPRECIATE, THE IDIOSYNCRACY OF THE BAGANDA AND THEIR CULTURE. AM OUTSIDE UGANDA NOW, THOUGH I CAN SPEAK SWAHILLI, I ALWAYS FIRMLY SUPPORT AND DEFEND THE FACT THAT IT IS NOT UGANDAN AND ITS NOT PART UGANDAN IDENTITY AS A WHOLE THOUG WE ARE ALSO EAST AFRICANS. I REMAIN STILL, NOT A MUGANDA BECAUSE I CANNOT LOCATE A PART OR PLACE (LUGYA) FROM WHERE MY ANCESTORS ORIGINATE IN BUGANDA. 99% OF MY FRIENDS ARE BAGANDA. I WORKED IN MUKONO IN RURAL AREAS, SAW THE PAIN OF THE LAND ISSUES FIRST HAND, THE SITUATION IS TERIBBLE. BUGANDA HISTORY SHOWS THAT, IT HAD A HIGH ABILITY TO INCULCATE NEW CHIEFDOMS BEFORE THE COLONIALISTS CAME IN; PART OF THE REASON IT ENLARGED AND STRENGTHENED TO CHALLENGE AND EVENTUALLY DEFEAT BUNYORO. THE WRITTEN HISTORY SAYS, THE BAGANDA, ARE ACTUALLY FROMTHE LUO STOCK THROUGH KATO KIMERA (BROTHER TO NYABONGO A.K.A LABONGO A.K.A ISINGOMA RUKIDI MPUGA). MY BROTHERS AND SISTERS, THE PRESENT HAPPENINGS, MAY OR MAYNOT BE FOR THE GREATER GOOD AND FUTURE OF BUGANDA AND UGANDA AS A WHOLE. UGANDA AND BUGANDA NEED EACH OTHER. LETS WATCH OUT BROTHERS AND SISTERS, LETS SHARPEN OUR LOVE OF BUGANDA AND TASTE FOR JUSTICE AT THE SAME TIME. I RECOMMEND THE HUKOU SYTEM EMPLOYED IN CHINA, IT HAS ALL THE ELEMENTS OF FEDERO (NOT FEDERAL) AND THE KABAKA CAN FIT IN THERE AS A POLITICAL LEADER (NOT JUST A PICTURE, AS PRESENTLY IS)

AWANGALE SSABASAJJA KABAKA.

nze

omusajja wa kabaka (this title also originaly used for non-baganda warriors who were intergrated into the kingdom during th precolonial time)

Re: BUGANDA esaanye yekutuleko

We may probably need each other, but I do not see as Buganda being needed. Buganda is being wiped out. Anyone can see that. They need Buganda's land and other resources. But they do not need Buganda. They are looting Buganda. They started with Kampala. Geographically where is Kampala located? Is it not in Buganda? But what do they say about Kampala? A day is coming when Kampala will be liberated.

What about our schools? Why are they burning our children and our schools? Is that how they indicate that they love and need Buganda? Isn't this very similar to the burning down of houses in Northern Uganda.

Each region owns land, right? Why sell only Buganda land to "investors"? Is that not looting? Are investors only interested in Buganda land? Why not buy land in other regions in the rest of Uganda?

What about Buganda's property. The 9000 sq. ml. land belongs to Buganda, always, now and for ever. A day will come when Buganda will get its land back. No doubt about that. If we need each other, why don't they respect Buganda's property?

Now see how they are dealing with our Kabaka and his officials. Is that the way one deals with people you need?

These are hard facts.

Try doing these things to your neighbor and see how long it will take to sever relationships with you. Start by eyeing his wife or her husband. And then burn down his fence. Tell your neighbor that a piece of land on your borders actually belongs to you. Cut down some of the trees in his land and use them without asking for them. What response would you expect from your neighbor? If you are not insane, you will not be surprised if your neighbor has nothing more to do with you. Apart from taking you to court.

Now try telling your neighbor that you need each other, that is, if you are insane. But if you are sane, you cannot tell your neighbor that you need each other after what you have done to them.

Supposing you were this ill-treated neighbor, what would you do? Would you think that your neighbor does indeed need you?

Or better still, supposing you do not come from Buganda. You come from some other region in Uganda, and they deal your home area the way they are dealing Buganda, what would you think or do? Would you still think that they need you? This is common sense, isn't it?

Kkiriza oba gaana, a day is coming when Buganda will be at peace once again. Guaranteed

And now Behold. The Hague man as at hand. He is ready to do his job.

BUGANDA esaanye yekutuleko 3 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Considering what is going on in Buganda today and in the recent past, can anyone say, truly, honestly and fully convinced that Buganda (INCLUDING ITS PEOPLE and not only its land) is a loved and needed region by those whose duty it is to lead Uganda as a whole?

You might probably say that they restored kingdoms. In practical terms, the restored Buganda kingdom is suffering much more hatred, mistreatment, torture than ever before.

Re:We need each other: 3 Months, 3 Weeks ago
Yes, its true Buganda has been targeted, no doubt. The series of land grabings are a deliberate attempt to uproot Baganda from their God given land. Land is central to Kiganda identity like it is to many other Bantu speakers in Uganda and most other groups like the Luo tribes. This might not be the case of pastoralists like the Karamojong, Basongora, Bahima etc..and hence the apparently inherent lack of appreciation of this point. Buganda, is a strong kingdom given it has the highest number of educated Ugandans in Uganda and in diaspora. But, the enemy it faces now is almost messianicaly delluded , desparate and is entrenched in Buganda itself in form of "Baganda-Rwandese" and other particularly present-regime-loyal so called "new baganda (non-baganda claiming to be baganda)". The main question is:

Is it possible for Buganda abandon old enemies and form new alliances, temporarily if it means, in order to deliver Uganda from this Lumbugu that has crept onto our home Uganda?

Is it possible for Buganda to lead the way against people who have targeted the core of Buganda identiry?

Is it possible for John Baptist Lugonvu a catholic muganda from Luweero triangle to form an alliance with Okello Aroono for Gulu?

Till these questions, are answered, the solution to this land scenario is still elusive.

The point maybe, Baganda need to come out fignting with bare knuckles, they should however be a little cautious not to alienate potential important allies.
