If another language was to be chosen, the government would have to spent much money on introducing and teaching it. Probably the capital City would have to move, so people would assemble around the native speakers. A true national language should be spoken and lived. It's shameful for people to be coming from African nations, where they claim that English is their national language, to have the native English speakers telling them that they can't speak or write the language. Not to mention having to sit for TOEFL(Test of English as a Foreign Language) in order to be admitted to institutions of higher education, in native English speaking countries.

I don`t care if english is the second language to Luganda.The Gov. sh`d not introduce any other lanuage apart from those spoken already in Uganda.But a native Lanuage sh`d exist and this shd be spoken atleast by all.Swahiri is to connect Africa at larg but Luganda sh`d connect Uganda as a country.Bandi maybe ive got you wrongly.
