Dear John,



First, am sorry that I have taken this long to send this e mail - it is a

longish explanation - suffice to say that it was unavoidable - but thank you so

much for your concern re: my being charged by "the State". I was deeply moved

by the concern shown by Ugandans all over the world. For some reason, I don't

get any mail- I guess the hackers are at work. I will find another way to

communicate and let you know about it.



Please convey my very warm regards to all strugglists who participated in the

debate about my arrest and subsequent charging especially those that have

promised to offer some financial support for the case. I am deeply grateful to

them all - and especially to yu and Michael Senyonjo for co ordinating it. we

shall certainly need a lot of money coz I hear M7 has sworn to get done with me

this time - but I shall not be intimidated! Please circulate this e mail and

copy me to so I can know whether my line has been opened

Museveni’s Nationality



We know that Col. Kamya was the father of Beti Kamya, but who is, or who was the father of Yoweri Museveni? Is President Museveni a foreign President and why is Beti querying Museveni’s nationality? According to the Constitution, article 102(a) states:



“A person is not qualified for election as a President unless that person is a citizen of Uganda by birth.”



Here, the president threatens to take Beti to court.



“However, for the information of Ugandans, I am of the Basiita sub-clan of the Bagahe clan (equivalent of Ente in Buganda), one of the most ancient in Uganda. That is why my clansmen must be involved in the coronation of the kings of Toro and Bunyoro”



The president spent the least time and the shortest paragraph on the issue of his nationality in an explanation similar to Bill Clinton’s description of sexual relations. The president does not talk about ‘my mother or my father’. He does not talk about ‘my grand parents or his ancestral graves. He claims to be a Ugandan by birth simply because he belongs to a certain clan and participates in a certain ceremony in Toro and Bunyoro! He does not give any account of where he was born, which district, hospital and in which year, month or day. These are questions every Ugandan answers when applying for a passport or employment. Clan relations do not determine nationality simply because clans assimilate anything. You may ask the Baganda on this one. ‘Tatwesibako’ was what my friend of ‘Ente’ clan answered when I brought the issue of his clan relation with Museveni.



This is a man belonging nowhere and seeking to belong somewhere. Suing natives is not the best approach to gain a sense of belonging! And on what grounds is the president suing anyway? If the president is to sue for damages then he better have a better explanation of his origins than clan relations.

A mere claim that you belong to a certain clan does not guarantee you nationallity status.

I will cite an example for you from my own experience;

One day my father invite his former O.B IN London when they were taking on their Medical studies, he went to Uganda in Bbunga in the laTE 90's, we wellcomed him,since it was an annual gathering for the Musu clan,he was given aname from one of our grand grand parents ''KILALYAMBWA''But does this make a Canadian man a UGANDAN?

part to awaken BUGANDA the GIANT in her Quest to attain her true place in the sun.

You are the torch bearer and the struggle has just began to stop the abuse, rape,looting and subjugation of BUGANDA.

M7 is not only a threat to our land with his stupid land laws, but our values, culture,Kingdom and above all our very existance.

We have no option but to support this struggle because if we don't BUGANDA will be no more. It will be annext by the TUTSI JUNTA in Kampala according to the TUTSI/HIMA masterplan of M7 enacted at Rwakitura in 1992.

M7 is not the first one to abuse BUGANDA hospitality, Obote and Amin

did and failed miserably and so will M7 if we stay together.
