Thanks for this thoughtful idea dear.
Language if you ask me comes along with traditions, say belief, norms, practices among others.
So this means that whatever language finally agreed upon, issues above will tend to sniff in. I am afraid though, they might be far reaching emotionally.
Swahili is good - mainly because it cuts across the entire region of East and Central Africa. Actually ill informed beings call it "African language". See? Commercially we w'd be on the merit side.
However, some of the unfortunate citizens w'd testify that the last time they were robbed. The "get rich quick" used the same language - Kiswahili - in words of Funguwa mulango
Luganda is widely spoken by Ugandans - but....the other 47 languages would tend to prefer another option - putting traditional dominance in the picture.
English? Where is our Independent Freedom? Does a foreign language depict being under some one's ampits? I don't know. Are we independent anyway? Don't know either.
