I very much condone corruption and whoever is doing it should be purnished harshly, and its good government is taking a stand on it "somehow" "iiisssshhhh"

whereas Teddy Ssezi Cheeye has been convicted 10 years, and others like Fred Kavuma have has 5 years, kazini 3 years and others likeThen health minister, Jim Muhweezi with his deputies, Mike Mukula and Alex Kamugisha refused to take political responsibility of the mismanagement of the funds and have not bee convicted.


The thing is, if they are to convict corrupt officials everyone has to be brought down and all of them to get harsh sentences like Ssezi's.

Today, monitor is reporting that "Yesterday, High Court Judge John Bosco Katungi handed Teddy Ssezi Cheeye a 10-year sentence over embezzlement of Shs120 million of Global Fund money in 2005. The money was meant for HIV/AIDS, TB and Malaria patients."

And on the other side, new vision is reporting that "TEDDY Seezi Cheeye, the director of economic monitoring in the Internal Security Organisation, has been convicted and sentenced to 28 years imprisonment for embezzling Global Fund money." So what is right???? Monitor did not report who wrote the article. but in these 2 cases, whoever has the wrong number of years should follow cheeye behind bars for 1 week, and they should be fired! why is it so hard for these guys to report the correct news? the fact that there are 2 different number of years shows that one of them is wrong. punishing these people or news papers should not only happen when the report about the war, in which case, they even seem to report identical news.

Someone has to work on this....

Off course they need more money from the donor community and they just needed
people like him to clear their path and create a way for more to flow in only to end up in their pockets. Those who ate big from the Global Fund money are walking free while others their cases takes eternity to be brought to book soon you will hear the state has lost interest in case and that will be the end of the story. Is this justice or blindfolding the public? May God help Uganda!!

Just been looking into what the media is reporting and sure the number of years for Cheeye´s sentence is not specific or rather accurate.So ekituffu tekimanyiddwa
