BUGANDA must quit worshipping other gods.

Buganda must make a solemn business of returning to God, and do it with a serious consideration and a stedfast resolution. Both are included in preparing the heart, directing, disposing, establishing, the heart unto the Lord.

Buganda should not only quit the worship of balubaale, but must destroy their images, demolish and burn their masabo, and completely abandon them. What have we to do any more with idols? Hos. 14:8; Isa. 30:22.

We have sinned against the Lord. If we confess our sins and abandon lubaale, we shall find our God faithful and just to forgive us our sins and reconcile with Buganda.

Jona good advice but I think your advice should have gone to Uganda as a whole because, all other tribes in Uganda have all small gods and many of them practice peganism more than the Baganda.
And since Baganda only make up about 17% of the ethinic majority in Uganda, It wouldnt do any better without the rest of them.

This topic consists of mixed feelings in that, Buganda culture is dominated by Lubaale (abakulu, bajjajja etc). If we as Baganda want to keep our values and culture, there is no way of dumping ba "Lubaale baffe". After all the "white" who brought the religion, them themselves hate going to church and have demolished most churches while pubs are on increase. Also, they depend on psychic predictions (most of them). So, this is a very delicate subject when it comes to preserving our culture values. There is only one definition of God, Love one another, your neighbour, help the needy, forgive those who wrong you. If you dont have those at heart, you will be wasting your time going to church or claiming to be holy, godly, born again; you name it.
